I, in a move unlike my usual self… took part in a link sharing meme called The Big Bang Meme. Part of the rules were that one must occasionally return to the main page over at the author’s site, copy the links for all the new additions, and update our own lists.
This was one of the reasons I did choose to take part, because it required a bit of responsibility and conscience on the part of the participants, to make sure everyone got a fair shake at links, not just those who found it first. I don’t mind the effort. I’m happy to do my part to help others as well as myself. The other aspect was that this meme is about setting a link record, and that’s a pretty neat idea.
As this meme link list grew though, it became large enough that the author placed a warning for WordPress users, to post the list in two separate posts due to some techno mumbo jumbo (sorry for using such technical geek talk) that made posting it as one list a problem.
I then decided to instead of creating posts that will get lost in the mix here, to just place the list on a page or two where they can be easily found. Heck.. a lot of those people on the list are worth checking out. Think of it as one new, giant blogroll here at fracas. If you find someone you end up friends with via this list… post and tell me so, it’ll make me smile.
