Help Save Tina Fey’s Life

When asked how long she will continue to play Sarah Palin on SNL, Tina Fey has been quoted as saying this:

“I’m done’ with playing Sarah Palin on ‘Saturday Night Live’ if she wins,” said Fey.

The Emmy winning Fey told TV Guide she can’t go on playing Palin forever.

“We’re gonna take it week by week. If she wins, I’m done. I can’t do that for four years,” Fey told the magazine, out Thursday. “And by ‘I’m done,’ I mean I’m leaving Earth.”

Now this really upset me to my very core.

I’m a good person for the most part, and I like to think I’m capable of feeling someone else’s pain. Today, all I can think of is poor Tina Fey, suffering so. It’s breaking my heart.

You see, some time ago, Tina was also quoted as saying:

“I like to crack the jokes now and again, but it’s only because I struggle with math.”

Nasa ImageAnd after reading about her decision to leave Earth if the McCain/Palin ticket wins in November, I couldn’t help but feel sorry for her. Obviously, her struggles are far reaching. Obviously, she struggles not just with math, but in every area that would lead a person to understand that in the year 2008, we actually haven’t discovered another planet yet, where poor, brokenhearted Tina could go.

This has got to be upsetting her family, her friends and everyone who loves her. Where would she go? How would she survive?

This is serious folks. This isn’t just silly nonsense like when Alec Baldwin said he was moving to Canada if Bush won. No one was really worried about that one anyway. Canada’s a decent place to live… no one would have had to worry about poor Alec suffering somewhere on some uninhabitable planet. Tina… now Tina’s in real danger.

I see only one solution…

“And by ‘I’m done,’ I mean I’m leaving Earth.”

Like I said on some other dudes blog, if Palin wins, she will probably grant Mrs Fey her wish of a quick departure from this earth.

It’s what a maverick would do.

I wanna be a maverick too. I can think of a few people I’d like to send into space.

;-)

Who said anything about space?
:O

If McCain wins, it’s likely that by comparison Canada will begin to resemble another, much more inviting, planet. So I suppose she’ll go there anyway.

In the unlikely event that McCain/Palin wins, that is.

omgdidisaythat – :-O

Tony – Could you elaborate on that? Just curious. How is Canada going to be like a more inviting planet?

Relatively sane politics.

Baldwin was in 2000, but you forgot Robert Redford saying he was moving to Ireland if Bush won in 2004. Glenn Beck even had a fund raiser to buy him the plane ticket, but Redford didn’t take him up on it.

I’m tell’n ya though it really doesn’t matter who wins. It’s all just more of the same.
