Apparently you like me, you really like me!
I’ve got a backlog of really nice things from some of you to add, and it’s like Christmas, Valentine’s Day and a visit from The Tooth Fairy all in one.
So here goes. I won’t make some big-ass long winded speech like Sally; I’ll just accept my awards and let everyone get back to the drinking. In no particular order (or rather, the order I could find them by going through my backlinks) are:
From Mark over at Blogitude:
He thinks I’m “twisted hilarious”. Sometimes, he could take off the word hilarious and still be right. I’m supposed to pass that one on to ten people. I made a list of ten people, and then wanted to add more people. I’m such a rebel. So I decided just like that old saying God doesn’t make junk, that the reason I couldn’t choose just ten people, is because fracas doesn’t keep junk on her blogroll or her fuelroll. If you’re on one of those, it’s because for one reason or another, I thought you have an excellent blog. Please take this award from me, because you deserve it too!
From JD over at I Do Things:
JD said I have a heart of gold. How generous! For someone whose very reason for blogging is to do things so that we don’t have to… that’s high praise indeed. JD, if ever anyone had a heart of gold, it is you. Some of the things you have spared me of by writing your blog have improved my quality of life to the extent that I’ll remember you should I ever win the lottery!
I’m supposed to pass it on to three people. I choose to pass this on to shle3pyb4by (baby), because there’s just something about her that brings out that part of you that wants to stop and smell the flowers. She is a treasure, and doesn’t seem to know it. I also choose to pass it on to my sis, LindaC. She’s currently wading through old photos for seven siblings… and turning them into something wonderful for our mom who is celebrating a milestone birthday. Anyone who thinks I have a big job in organizing the party, has no idea what it’s like to ask your seven siblings to contribute photos, and they each send in the neighbourhood of about a hundred and fifty. That’s a lot of photos, memories, and that means LindaC is spending a lot of time not just making her fraccy sister and her fraccy mother happy; she’s getting to smell the flowers this week. (Perhaps she’ll be smelling them at 3 am, but smelling them nonetheless.) I love you dearly Linda, and I will always be your little sidekick. And lastly, I am passing this on to the gals over at Random Place of Mind. I wish for them both, the time, health and happiness, to be able to stop and smell the flowers. It’s my way of sending a hug to someone who needs one right now.
From Judy over at Sugar Queen’s Dream:
Judy has created this Sweet as Sugar Award because she loves the puddin’ out of me! Who couldn’t love Judy back? She’s better than puddin’. So she’s asked us to only pass this on to people we believe are sweet as sugar. If you’re not on the list today, it doesn’t mean I think you’re the equivalent of a spoonful of Buckley’s, it means I reserve the right to haul this award out and pass it on at my whim… just to make people happy. So today, my sweets are Sylvie (no explanation necessary, everyone knows she’s as sweet as an old-fashioned stick of rock candy), JD (see above to know why) and Mark. Now those who might think being a sweetie is reserved for women couldn’t be more wrong. In his day to day life, I happen to know that Mark is a sweetie to not just his lovely woman… but to a whole host of people that look to him for help, advice, friendship and all that good stuff. So Mark… suck this one up. You’re a sweetie and I guess you’ll just have to live with it.
I’m off now, to check and see if I’ve missed anything. If I have, post a comment and let me know. I tell you… those Big Bang meme links are wreaking havoc on whether I catch all my backlinks from friends!

Dear Fracas thank you so much for the flower smelling greeting. It is so kind of you.
I will post it over at Random Place of Mind and Sunny will be sure to read it (she doesn’t flit through the blogs as often as she would like….. she needs time to stop and smell the flowers which I know she intends to do now) I know she too will be delighted at your kind words and thoughts
Thank you again :-)

Comment by Daddypapersurfer February 20, 2008 @ 1:27 AMDon’t worry – I’m always rummaging through your drawers, discovering intimate details and little secrets.
[I kept the idea about Mr Fracas and the TG getting together a secret - I fear she could be tempted]

Mark – Yeah.. I know. I’m special. Anyone else did that to you and you’d bop ‘em one. You’re Welcome.
JD – You’re just a little ole sugar cube to me!
Hazel – I hope you take me seriously and take that big-ass “E” over to your site. Your site deserves that one for sure!
Daddypapersurfer – To answer your questions… Yes. No (Mr. Fracas would be upset at that) and Kinda.
I saw that you deleted a couple of comments over there. I wasn’t bothered. Honest. I think I understand why. I’m still your most kick-arse admirer.
I’ve been awfullly busy with mom’s party and going through 40 years worth of family photos to send appropriate ones to LindaC. A few more days and I’ll be annoying everyone to that familiar old extent you’ve come to
fearknow and love.baby – Oh no baby, I just put it up. No apologies necessary!
