Former “Brady Bunch” star, Christopher Knight and “America’s Next Top Model” season 1 winner, Adrianne Curry met and fell in love on season four of VH1’s “The Surreal Life.” The unlikely couple moved in together, got engaged and got married, all very publicly thanks to their reality series “My Fair Brady.” The show created new uses for the common air-sickness bag as users found it necessary to be prepared for the inevitable.
January 20, 2008 saw a resurgence in barf bag interest as ‘My Fair Brady … Maybe Baby’ premiered. In the show, Curry had planned to surprise Knight with a gift of nude photos of herself and a female friend. Finding the pictures early, Knight
became upset because according to him, he’d always suspected her of being a lesbian and for him, this cemented it. Curry cries and insists she isn’t a lesbian, she’s a chris-ian. Chris-ian as in Christopher.
Yes… she really did say that.
It’s times like this where I remember that I never did like Peter Brady… and I am relieved.
To watch the video clip, click on the still image, but please… check if you might have one of those bags available.

Know what I don’t get? I don’t get why people watch this stuff. Because really (to quote good ol’ GW)we are the *deciders* We decide what sells by what we buy… and we decide what networks play by what we watch… you heard about Jericho, right? lol
Comment by Linda February 16, 2008 @ 10:35 amI haven’t had a TV in years… and stuff like this just cements why.
People have reached a level of boredom I can not fathom if they are watching this.
Fraccy, please tell me you don’t watch this. lol
Comment by jayleen February 16, 2008 @ 1:09 pmCan’t stomache the show. I don’t really watch much tv at all, unless I’m sick or something.
I agree with Linda. We do call the shots. Unfortunately I think there really are a lot of people that enjoy those crappy shows. It’s like stopping at the car accident. You know you shouldn’t want to see it, but you do. Well.. you know what I mean.
However, I had heard via a little birdie, that some fraccy readers missed the celebrity posts. I decided to see what was current and give a little bit of the celebrity frac some time.
I will be watching American Idol though, and hopefully there won’t be nude picture controversy this year. I am sure though, that there will be this year’s equivalent of Sanjaya.
Call me silly, but seeing how talented some of the unknowns out there really are gives me a good feeling. I like to think that because they’re on the show, someone might see them and they might get a break they’d not have enjoyed otherwise.
Oh.. and maybe I have a crush on Simon?
(LOL… Jayleen, you know how I like to start a good rumour.)
Comment by fracas February 16, 2008 @ 1:44 pmJayleen…. I agree, except I’m not sure it’s a level of boredom. There’s lots of better things to do with one’s time. Go for a walk, play a sport, get into crafts, read a book, do volunteer work, etc. I think people have reached a state of laziness. They’d rather sit on their butts and watch drivel than get off their butt and do something. (anything!) lol.
Fracct… Hmmm… you send Daddy P your prize from that one contest… and now you *might* have a crush on Simon. I’m thinkin’ maybe fraccy has a thing for brits? LOL
Comment by Linda February 16, 2008 @ 3:50 pmerr… typo alert. Fracct should be fraccy…. lol
Comment by Linda February 16, 2008 @ 3:51 pm*Phew* Fraccy… I was getting ready to take desperate measures and plan an intervention on your behalf… ;)
Simon, eh? The only thing I know of Simon is the ending of Shrek 2, Far Far Away Idol. lol
But what about you and the guy who ‘fuels’ around with you? Is that rumor like, so 30 minutes ago?
Comment by jayleen February 16, 2008 @ 8:36 pmOh, and Linda… you’re probably right about lazy vs bored. I hadn’t thought of that.
Comment by jayleen February 16, 2008 @ 8:42 pmLOLOL Jayleen.. it was that someone was a fuel for me, not that anyone was was fueling around with me.
But now that I think about it, every day there are a few people that fuel around with me. I must be bad.
Sheesh.. way to go making the rumour a real one.
;-)
Comment by fracas February 16, 2008 @ 9:20 pmLinda… I said I might have a crush. There was no definative there. ;-)
I also might have a crush on Sean Connery and/or Patrick Stewart.
Hmmm. I see where you’re getting that whole “men who speak with some kind of an accent” thing.
Comment by fracas February 16, 2008 @ 9:23 pmthere’s only one word for that video: painful.
Comment by tNb February 16, 2008 @ 10:02 pmJust trying to do my part for the cause… :D
Comment by jayleen February 16, 2008 @ 11:38 pmHmmm. I see where you’re getting that whole “men who speak with some kind of an accent” thing.
I don’t usually miss a beat. Well, except in my own life. Miss beats and boats there. lol. I’ve just gotten old enough that I’m beginning to clue in to when I should tease and when to keep my trap shut. LOL.
I will speak to Mr. Fraccy about working on an accent. It would be – like – a gift. For him. lol. Kidding. KIDDING. See? I’m even blowing kisses while I giggle….
Comment by Giggles February 17, 2008 @ 12:10 amtNb – isn’t it though? Oy.
jayleen – that’s what sisters are for, right?
Giggles… yeah, that’s a good name for you tonight – Actually I haven’t decided if it’s the accent or the whole bald thing. Except Connery isn’t bald. And I don’t really have a crush on Simon, he’s far too arrogant for me. But am I doing a good job of starting rumours and creating that thing called ‘buzz’ for my blog or what?
Hey.. just be glad I’m not starting rumours about you.
Comment by fracas February 17, 2008 @ 12:51 amDo people actually watch this rubbish??
Out of interest would their viewing figures have us taking off our socks to count the numbers…… ooops sorry I didn’t mean us as in us on here, we are far to intelligent, I mean the 10 or so viewers they must have who have been lobotomized ..
Comment by 70steen February 17, 2008 @ 6:43 amHmmm. I admit it. I watch reality TV (LOVE American Idol), but even I have standards. This whole My Fair Brady business is out of control. Reality? You’re telling me there’s a man on this planet that would be UPSET at finding nude pix of his wife and some other chick. Right.
Fracas! Come pick up your award!

Comment by JD at I Do Things February 17, 2008 @ 8:46 amBlech… we need a new post so we don’t have to look at her whiney face at the top of your blog. LOL
Comment by Linda February 18, 2008 @ 10:14 amlol Linda she has a whiney voice to go with it too :-)
Comment by 70steen February 18, 2008 @ 2:24 pmlol 70s…. I know…. I made the mistake of listening to the clip.
And then my ears started to bleed and dripped on the floor and I slipped on it. And then I grabbed the desk so as not to fall, and pulled a stack of papers off by accident. With the cat on them. Who screached and jumped through the air while papers flew everywhere.
What a fracas THAT was.
All because of the whiney face “Chris-ian” who really needs to put on her big girl pants and get a life.
LOL.
Comment by Linda February 18, 2008 @ 2:50 pmI’m sorry, I’m sorry… lol.
I’ve been sorting family pictures, scanning, touching them up (’cause the scanner is waaaaay too sensitive and picks up every mark on the picture) and uploading them to Linda, because she’s making this kick-ass thing for my mom’s 80th birthday.
And I’ve also been taking care of the party details. But hahahaha Linda, when I am done my part of this dealy thing…. you will still be working on the dvd and then I’m going to go to your blog and tease you for not having a new post up.
But yes, seriously. I owe everyone a HUGE apology for making you look at her whiney face for this long.
But Linda… remember when you used to babysit that girl names Adrienne? I swear she reminds me of this one. When that stupid Brady show first came on, I thought about that. Wasn’t that girl annoying too?
LOL.
70s – lol.
JD – Awww. You are sweet. I shall go get it shortly. I have one from Judy and also another one (I think) that are waiting for me to put them up. February is so not my month for keeping up on my blog.
Comment by fracas February 19, 2008 @ 4:20 amAdrienne. Gee, I remember her. Felt sorry for her because her parents got divorced — her dad worked too much and her mom didn’t want her.
Know something funny? When I was working for HBC, she came in to see me. She was living in Toronto and working as a model… came to visit her dad and dropped in to thank me for “being there” at a rough time in her life. Gosh, she turned out gorgeous. Cheekbones to die for.
Funny old memories.
Comment by Linda February 19, 2008 @ 11:18 amReally? I don’t think I knew that. That’s sad. I’ll never think of her as annoying again.
Comment by fracas February 19, 2008 @ 1:58 pmlol. You probably didn’t know… and she WAS annoying sometimes. lol. And other times sweet as could be. I was 15 and the very idea of a Mom not wanting her daughter blew my mind.
I probably wouldn’t have told you because you were what — 11? The idea of a little girl’s mom not wanting her was bad enough for me to wrap my head around… don’t think I could have told younger sisters that.
I remember holding her hand and taking her to Westage for ice cream. Old memories… : )
Comment by Linda February 19, 2008 @ 2:44 pmerr… pardon that type. LOL. You know the old ice cream shop I mean. We went there, too. Forever ago. I think it’s gone now.
