For some time now, the fracas sidebar has held a butterfly asking you to click and give hugs to Ambriel. You can click through the links in the write-up, and read about Ambriel’s journey with cancer. When I learned a few months ago, that Ambriel might be facing another battle with cancer, I knew that my little hug clicker was meant for her.  To date, more than 13,000 hugs have registered for her, and though she is happily, not facing what was dreaded… I have left it there.

Ambriel deserves hugs that cause that clicker to turn right over, and I’ll leave it there until it does.  Please continue to hug her. I know one day, she will be able to frame a little screen capture of 999,999 hugs… all meant for her! 

About fifteen minutes ago, I visited the blog of Ambriel’s mom, skywindows, and found a post she’d created yesterday, along with a video. Her post told us that tomorrow (actually today then, since I’m reading it not yesterday) is the anniversary of one year from the day they were told she had cancer. Skywindows created the video to share Ambriel’s journey.

I felt a need to place that video here, and ask you all to watch it.

I can’t explain in any better way, than just by saying I have felt both priviledged and blessed, to have been able to share even a little bit of their story.  There isn’t a person in their family, who hasn’t been a person who has lifted up someone else… just by being the people they are.

I am happy then, to share a little bit of the blessing that is skywindows, brahnamin and their family… with you all.
