So apparently, that contest where you could win $2500.00 was a fake, and the caca is going to hit the fan. I know I said I’d stop writing about all things caca, but this just happened and once again… it’s not my fault!

A trackback appeared and I went to check it out. It seems that the “winner” was a blog that was created right before the contest deadline, has only two posts on it and many other bloggers are convinced the whole thing was a ploy on Ashwin’s part, to get links.

That he did… about 450.

A backlash is happening over at contest blogger. We’re supposed to write posts bringing this to light, and Contest Blogger will add our link to the list of people who want to let Ashwin know that he should’ve been honest because this is going to render him the annoying little outcast dude in school, forever to be shunned because he picks his nose and eats it, farts those really smelly ones, whines all the time and never calls anyone by their correct name.

In other words, no one will want to associate with him.

The internet seems like a big place, but in the blogging world, somehow it always gets around.

So… go check it out for yourself and see if you care about it enough to post.

My idea is for all of us to simply go remove our links to him in our posts. Eventually, his technorati rating will fall because he’s lost his linkage. Technorati links aren’t forever, you have to keep them up.

… and it’s easier than a kick in the ass. I’d hate to ruin my good shoes.
