I was fretting about what to write today. Some days you wake up and just don’t feel very funny, but you write an entertainment blog, so what now? In fact, it was making me feel a bit #3333CC blue. I went to Google News, because often the Google News Fairy (yes, she does exist unlike the Tooth Fairy.. stupid lying parents be damned) helps me out by pointing me in the direction of something really post-worthy.
Not today though.
I decided to visit some of the blogs I like to read regularly, hoping for a speckle of inspiration. Over at Joey’s blog, I noticed that all her recent comments were to her regular So You Think You Can Dance feature. It didn’t do much for me other than make me feel a little #339900 green, since I wasn’t smart enough to decide to write about this season’s show… one that turned out to attract positive reviews for the talent it showcased.
Sigh. Sometimes blogging is hard. I really didn’t think I should post more bra photos, for, although DaddyP would surely send me flowers for it at this point, I do worry about pleasing the female readers also. It’s so easy to find hot bra photos, post them, and please the male readers but honestly, if one of the kids saw me at the computer dilligently hunting down sexy male underwear pictures… well, frankly, it might make me #FFCDCC blush. Of course I could say I was shopping for Mr. Fracas, but I promise you, that excuse would provoke all kinds of outbursts and exclamations from the kids for me to stop before I either make them sick, or make their hair turn #737373 grey.
That thought alone makes me see #FF0000 red! It’s not fair I tell you, not fair!
I do really need to get out of this #000000 black mood though. I feel as though someone out there has, well… hexed me. I might just have to get another (ahhh #4D2800) coffee since that always seems to work for bluepaintred, or who knows… maybe it’s some (mmm #663500) chocolate that I need this morning?
At any rate, a Google Fairy finally did come through for me.
It wasn’t the News Fairy though, it was the Images Fairy. She took pity on her fraccy friend and with a mighty pouff and a flurry of cyberdust, found me the following cartoon. Because of her, I’ll be back later, refreshed from a short stint outdoors, and happily full of coffee and chocolate, to post again.
Aren’t you lucky.
