I’ve done my voting, written my post over at the fuelmyblog blog, and have consumed the chocolate. There is no lack of wine, and the #3 child informs me that Mr. Fracas has a fire waiting to go in the firepit. The middle child is off enjoying a 
lovely evening with her boyfriend and other friends, the oldest child is off working hard in another province and so it is just the three of us fo enjoy an evening fire.
#3 will no doubt entertain us with his newfound enjoyment of the new band instrument he is eagerly anticipating the beginning of the school year with, and until the neighbours call the police to beg enforcement of any local noise bylaws, I fully intend to allow him to enjoy that shiny brass thing to his heart’s desire.
And yes. This is the actual fraccy firepit. So the photo was taken in winter? Big deal. We were out having a fire on Christmas Day, because we’re just cool like that.
I’m sure Rootie would be proud.

a) write and post my Tips for Parents over at fuelmyblog’s blog, since I was such a ‘tard and didn’t get my last week’s one up until Thursday

Back in December, there was NaDruBloDa. Not to be forced to wait until December again, the citizens spoke, and Rootie complied, creating a day for all, midway betwixt NaDruBloDa 1 and NaDruBloDa 2. Herein afterwards, referred to as International Drunk Blogging Day.
