While shoe “shopping” online, I came across a pair of Manolo Blahniks that look quite similar to a pair of shoes I actually own.
I was quite taken by surprise. Blahniks are usually priced into the several-to-many-hundred-dollars-a-pair category. I can assure you, I paid significantly less than that for mine.
I did find another pair of Blahniks that I liked, but would I ever pay that kind of money for them? No.

I guess I’ve pretty much given away the fact that I like “scary” kick-ass shoes as opposed to “pretty” or “feminine” shoes. I did find several pairs of sandals (which I don’t usually wear unless it’s the flat, wear-with-shorts kind) I like, and a few pairs of really impractical boots that of course means they’re the ones you must purchase first.
I’ll save those for another post though.
And maybe I’ll even take some pics of some of my “actual” shoes.
