Most bloggers have heard of NaNoWriMo. Otherwise known as National Novel Writing Month, it’s the program where you sign up and pledge to hammer out a novel in thirty days.

Did you know though, that out there was Na-No-Blog-Mo, NaNoEdMo, NaNoPubYe, NaNoFiMo, JulNoWriMo, NaNoWriYe, naplwrimo, NaNoMangO, NaNoArtMo, NaBloPoMo, and my new favorite… NaDruBloDa.

Why is NaDruBloDa my current favorite?

NaDruBloDa’s slogan is “…because there’s a day for every single thing else.” And by the list I’ve begun to accumulate below, it seems the organizers of NaDruBloDa are correct. NaDruBloDa just seems to scream out at you:

Why suffer and struggle (as so many NaNoWriMo participants seem to do) when you can have fun…

So fun I will be having. December 29, 2006. Mark your calendars and/or go sign yourself up too. Hit the liquor store and make damn sure you’re ready.

I do feel compelled to make this one statement though…
